Overview of Huamei School
Guangzhou Huamei International School is the only full-time English-Chinese boarding school in Guangzhou, founded and managed by a group of returned overseas Chinese scholars, and includes kindergarten, primary school, middle school and pre-university foundation courses. Our school now ranks as one of the best private boarding schools in southern China. The 18-acre campus is situated in a mountainous suburb of Guangzhou city, a famous international city close to Hongkong. Tree-surrounded buildings, one standard athletic field, 3 tennis courts, one indoor gymnasium, two swimming-pools, and a biological garden help make after-class activities colorful.
Primary school is the earliest founded section of Huamei School. It is located in the center of the beautiful campus and equipped with standard modern facilities, 130 staffs members with an average age of 31 and more than 800 hundreds students. Origin of the International class
Since its founding Huamei school has attracted plenty of overseas students to study English and Chinese. With the swift economical development and rise of China in the world political arena, there is a sharp increase of the Chinese study trend. In order to meet the needs of foreign students to learn Chinese and master Chinese culture while keeping on with their English study, the primary school set up 2 international classes, last summer, which provide tailor-made English and Chinese curriculums and compile exclusive elementary textbooks for them, and catering to individual needs for the students aged 2-16. Amazingly those without any understanding of Chinese at the beginning can communicate in Chinese after one year of study, and more and more foreign students and their parents show great interest in this class.
Admission standards
Potential Students: all children ready to study Chinese in China
Class one: students in grade 1,2,3 max 20 students
Class two: students in grade 4,5,6 max 20 students
Objective:
