On March 5，2024, accompanied by Mr. Zeng Zhendong, Mr. Li Nan and Mr. Xiang Fei, leaders from the United Front Work Department of CPC Guangzhou Committee, Mr. Qiu Xi, Secretary General from US-China Cultural Exchange & Development Association, Inc. visited HMIS. Personnel from HMIS - Mr. Rocky Chen, the General Principal, Ms. Zhu Lina, the Party Branch Secretary, Ms. Serene Chen, the Director of International Programs, Mr. Li Feng, the Director of Education and Teaching Assurance Department and Ms. June Yang，the International Exchange Specialist participated in the reception.

In addition to the visit to our Campus, an informal and open-minded conference was held and ideas were exchanged.

US-China Cultural Exchange & Development Association, Inc. has maintained close contact with the United Front Work Department of CPC Guangdong Committee. To promote the exchange of folk culture and art between the United States and China, the association has actively played a bridging role and provided services and assistance for the exchange and cooperation of folk culture and art between the two countries, which has held several "Journey of Roots" activities for Chinese American youth since 2009.

A detailed presentation on school features, curricula, university enrollment prospects and international exchange outcomes were given by Ms. Serene Chen, the Director of International Programs, which gained high evaluation from the Leaders of The United Front Work Department of CPC Guangzhou Committee. As a result, HMIS was strongly recommended to corporately organize the "Journey to Find Roots" activity with US-China Cultural Exchange & Development Association. Further discussions on the issue was discussed by the two sides.
