In November Huamei Primary students had a special autumn study tour. They went to South China National Botanical Garden and Guangdong Science Centre. Two weeks before the study tour, teachers first went to the destination to have an on-the-spot investigation and prepared a bilingual science manual combining field content and subject knowledge. Combining the knowledge of different disciplines, the teachers gave the students a pre-study interdisciplinary course.

We learned how to describe plants.

We also learned a lot of English words about plants and transportation.

Our art teachers also taught us sketching skills! I can quickly draw my favorite flowers!"

During the study, they enjoyed their own exploration journey with questions, thoughts and imagination, and carefully completed the tasks in the handbook.
