Dear Diary,

It was Wednesday today and I could go home in three days. I felt tired but excited today. What did I do today? Let me tell you.

Every year, we will have a sport meeting in November. This year I decided to take part in some events——Running，long jumping and relay race. So, I need to practice and prepare.

In the morning, I was really looking forward to the PE lesson. Why? Because I could practice! However, I was badly upset because it was raining! I couldn’t practice running. The track was wet, and I was afraid of falling. So, my good friend Jin and I planned to run on the playground at night. I was dying for the school sports meeting, but I was also afraid of running slowly.

In the evening, after self-study, Jin and I rushed happily to the playground. Luckily, the track was dry! That meaned I could practice. I looked at my watch. I encouraged myself and countdown, 3,2,1, go! I ran forward with all my strength. I was about 50 meters faster than Jin. I reached the finish line before her. I also practiced the long jumping.    

Finally, I went back to the dormitory. Lying in the bed, I was exhausted but excited and happy. Hopefully, sports meeting would come soon. Though it was tiring to train myself, I never give up.
