Dear Diary,

The summer vocation was over. I’ve already been in Grade 8. Before I came back to school, I looked forward to the new courses, new classmates and new teachers. While I also felt a little bit nervous, because I had to adapt the school life in the new semester.

Once I stepped into the school, I found that our school became more beautiful. The air was fresh, which was filled with the smell of flowers. The trees were green. The Wisdom Building was shining like a Crystal ball.

When I was on my way to the dormitory, I realized that my friends had moved to another building which was new and bright. The bedroom was conformable. I still lived in the same dormitory. There were six classmates who was living with me. I hoped we would enjoy our school life together. I would do my best to get along well with them.

My hobby is playing golf. This semester, I didn’t join the golf club. However, I joined a French Learning Club. I thought French was very difficult. It was quite different from English. During the first class, I learnt some basic French. Although it was hard to learn, I wouldn’t give up. I would ask teachers for help and improved my French.

The new semester was a great challenge to me. All courses are more difficult that before. I should study harder than before. Perhaps we will encounter some obstacles in life, but there are also many moments that make us feel happy and lucky. Just like today. It was memorable and unforgettable.
