On October 9th, 2023, accompanied by Ms. Huang Rong,  Tianhe School District, colleagues from Furen International School, Singapore visited HMIS. The delegates included Mr Marcus Clayton and Ms Li Wei, the Principals; and Ms Catherine Liang, the General Manager of Furen International School. Personnel from HMIS - Mr. Rocky Chen, the General Principal, Ms. Serene Chen, the Director of International Programs, Mr. Li Feng, the Director of Education and Teaching Assurance Department and Ms. June Yang， the International Exchange Specialist.

In addition to the visit to our Campus, an informal and open-minded conference was held and ideas were exchanged.

Furen International School, is a well-known Private international high school registered with the Committee for Private Education in Singapore, while HMIS is the first Provincial-level private K12 school in Guangdong province and it has established systematic China-based international education system to prepare students for entering colleges and universities in China and abroad. Furthermore, it is one of the first group of cooperative international high school approved by Guangdong Educational Department, alongside the Ontario Ministry of Education, Canada.  A detailed presentation on school features, curricula and university enrollment prospects were given by both sides. The possibility of future cooperation between the two schools was discussed as well.

We are looking forward to further communication and exchanges with Furen International School and more schools all over the world.
