On the 18^th of April, Huamei School held an international workshop with the topic How to Motivate Students in Chinese Culture. Mr. Taylor, an experienced English teacher from Huamei Primary School, spoke as the facilitator during the workshop. Teachers from different school divisions attended the event. They discussed educational theories and practices, such as the “Happy Classroom” teaching method, social and emotional learning, cultivating a growth mindset, supportive teaching, goal setting & feedback, etc.

It was a great opportunity for teachers to express themselves and learn about different methods of teaching diverse age groups. High school teachers discovered the everyday basics of kindergarten teachers; primary school teachers delivered their points to middle school teachers. Every comment on the methodology reflected the deep cultivating of educational practices. We look forward to building a team for life-long learners.
