In 1995, UNESCO declared 23 April as World Book Day, dedicated to promoting reading, publishing, and the protection of intellectual property rights around the world. GIC has held five editions of Reading Culture Month. This year is the sixth. The activity aims to promote reading among students.

This is the reading list for 2023. Our theme is ‘Growing up’. We issued a call to all teachers and students to read books through the student assembly. The students copied down the quotations from the book that students are reading. We also organized students to make reading T-shirts. The students' creativity was very impressive.

Except for that, students also design the covers for every book from the recommendation list. Here are some excellent works.
