How is it going these days？Hearing that you are interested in Chinese paintings，I'm writing to invite you to attend the lecture on Chinese painting to be organized by the Art Club in our school，whose purpose is to promote Chinese traditional culture.

As an excellent art form，Chinese painting is one of the major parts of China's tradition．Therefore，the lecture will help us understand the history and the main techniques of Chinese painting．It will be held in our school lecture hall and will start at 3pm next Friday afternoon，lasting 2 hours．I'm sure it will be a good opportunity for you to experience the charm of Chinese painting.
