Public Services and Sharing Economy
Shared :

Why are there some students wearing costumes on campus? Some of them are dressed in fashion, some are dressed in the clothes of "Chinese young SWAT", some are dressed as animals, and some are dressed in doctor’s coats... Students and teachers are also curious about this and go to the downstairs to take a look.

It turned out that today was the GIC assembly activity of the primary school. Students in grades 5 and 6 presented their PBL projects of public welfare activities and sharing economy. Fifth grade students learned through the classroom that there are various social problems on campus, in the community and in the society, such as drug problem, campus bullying, animal rights and environmental pollution. After searching online, the students learned from the experience of existing public welfare organizations about their corresponding solutions. Then, they designed their own public welfare institutions, and held special activities to help people in need. Their topics include: COVID Museum, Environmental Protection, Animal Rights, Drugs, Eating Disorders, poverty and so on. At the same time, they also set up the recruitment area to provide the position and salary for talented people. Sixth graders focused on the sharing economy. In class, they learned how shared services can bring convenience to people's lives, and then designed their own shared service. Adhering to the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), they made models with recyclable materials. Each step of the poster and model was completed by students themselves. Some of their designs include: Quick Wash Machine, Drone World, Technology Gear, Michelin stall and Safe Guardian.

The students shouted hard to attract the attention of the visiting teachers and students. When someone came to ask questions, they did not show timidity but confidently introduced their ideas and works to the visitors, and tried their best to explain and canvass so that their works could be known by more people. Each booth has models that can be tried out, and some students have made their own brand promotional videos with QR codes. These QR codes can be scanned out! Some students were deeply touched by the speech of senior students and helped publicize it together. Some students feel inspired and talked to the teachers about their ideas. Some students are very interested in the displayed models and tried them more than once between various booths. Both the fifth and sixth grade students who participated in the production and other students who came to enjoy the market were full of harvest! The event also attracted foreign teachers and teachers from other disciplines to visit.
