       Maywas a peaceful month, rarely interrupted events and peppered with a flurry ofCovid tests every week. We hope that you and your family had a wonderful Laborholiday weekend. May also included a very special day for all Huamei mothers.We hope that you all had an extra special day and celebrated the mothers in ourlives to the fullest.

       Mayis bringing us into the final stretch of Units and UOIs for the school year.This means that the students are now more than comfortable with their teachersand classes are running smoothly. Including, with our new teacher Mr.Jeandre.Our Juniors and Mediums are getting ready for their next stage. Meanwhile, ourSeniors and Connections students are getting ready for their next big step ofgoing to Primary school.

       Duringthis month we finished our third UOI and began our journey into our fourth andlast UOI. For our third UOI our Juniors learned all about the different land,air, and sea vehicles that exist around us. Our Mediums students learned thedifferences between healthy and unhealthy all while maintaining a healthylifestyle. The Seniors students learned about the different life cycles in theworld around us from rice to chicken. For our oldest students our Connectionsspent their time learning about different characters and the different meaningsbehind them. We are so proud of all the discoveries and knowledge found alongthe way.

       Goinginto our final OUI the children are looking forward to the new topics ofdiscovery ahead. The Juniors are starting their journey with the weather. TheMediums are gaining wisdom on environmental protection. The Seniors lookingthrough the lens of homes throughout the world. The Connection class isspending their time learning about the school and getting a better understandingof their upcoming transition.

       Thelast event we had in May was Huamei’s live open house. The kindergarten finallygot to show our crown jewels to the masses after a few rainy delays. Spectatorsgot to follow along Principal Mr. Rocky as he traveled throughout thekindergarten. We saw the Junior classes race against each other while showingoff their daily life skills. The Mediums made our mouths water with theirvariety of cooking skills. The Seniors and Connections  enjoyed talking about what they learned inthe life cycle UOI and making leaf print books. We hope that you tuned in andenjoyed our snapshot into Huamei Kindergarten life.
