The highlight for me for November month was when we celebratedSpecial Me dress up day. The goal of the Dress-up day activities was to let ourchildren experience various cultures and conduct IB ideas in the kindergarten. Thechildren and teachers had the opportunity to dress up in their favoritecostumes. There were all kinds of characters making an appearance like Ultraman,Princess Elsa, Pikachu, and Spiderman. During the day there was a competitionbetween the junior, medium, senior and connection classes where the studentswith the help of the teachers had to make a Jack o lantern out of pumpkins. Thestudents also learned new vocabulary and songs about Special Me dress up dayand played some interesting games. At the end of the day, everyone got togetheron the ground floor of the kindergarten and the foreign teachers sang anddanced with the children on the song, ‘Go away scary monster, go away’. Everyclass had the opportunity to go around the classrooms in the kindergarten andhad to say, ‘trick or treat’ and they then received candy from the otherclasses. The students and teachers had an enjoyable day dressed up in costumes,singing, dancing, and playing fun games.
