Ladies and gentlemen,          

It’s my greathonor to make a speech here. My name is Kitty. I’m an ardent HK student with greatresponsibilities from Huamei International school. My topic today is TheBenefits of Global Cooperation.

In the past overone year, the world has been suffering from a great damage which is theCOVID-19. Up to now, It’s reported that the number of the infected hasincreased to 85 million. During the disease, a good many of whom have losttheir lives, plenty of people lost their families, and many people chose tofight against the war. At the same time, the economy of each country hasdecreased in a large amount for years. Take HK as an example, the amount of thetourists from the mainland of China took a great decrease for the whole year.It has severely attacked the tourism, which plays an important role in theeconomic development in HK. The economy got worse in a year additionally.During this catastrophe, China gave a hand to many European countries. We sentnumbers of specialists, face masks, vaccines and so on to them without anyreward but just for friendship. China cooperated with the European Union ontrade in many areas. In many aspects, a large quantities of the Europeanenterprises can be able to stand stabler in China for more freedom. There is anold saying in China一方有难 八方支援, which means when one is at the end of therope, we have help from all sides.

All in all, all ofthese give expressions to the Global Cooperation. Only because of various aidsfrom all the directions, can we, as a whole, be confronted with challenges. I’mdeeply convinced that with the cooperation we human beings are bound to make ithowever ferocious the pandemic is! Thank you.
