In order to ensure the implementation ofour educational philosophy of Inward & Outward cultivation and All-roundDevelopment, we, the Secondary School, organized a series of curriculum-relatedactivities for students this semester. They are mainly as follows.

We provided some elective courses forstudents. Through a strict procedure, we selected some from more than a dozencourses, which were recommended and created by some teachers from the SecondarySchool. The finalized courses were Speech and Eloquence, Mind Games, LearningMaths in Playing, English Audio-Visual-Speaking, Popular Science of TraditionalChinese Medicine & Culture, Tourism Geography, Memory Training, Japanese,Football, etc.

We held a one-month foreign languagefestival with a foreign language evening party included, in the course ofwhich, some events were arranged for students, such as students’ Englishhandwriting competition, training lectures for English teachers, etc. Theforeign language evening party appealed to all the students greatly. Thefollowing is the agenda for the evening party.

We held a mind map competition amongstudents. In the competition, students were required to draw a mind map of anyof the courses they were learning. Appropriately 800 students participated andmore than 100 students won prizes.

We held a hard pen handwriting competitionof Chinese characters as well. All students took part in the event except thosein Grades 9 & 12, who were busy preparing for Zhongkao and Gaokaorespectively.

Apart from activities mentioned above,actually the Secondary School provided some other activities, such as New Year’sEve party, Chinese Speech Contest for National Day, etc.

Now this semester is coming to an end.looking back, we are glad that under the guidance of the Secondary School’seducational philosophy, our students are growing in an all-round way. Lookingto next semester, we can say for certain that our students will get cultivatedboth inwardly and outwardly and get fully developed.
