The Mid-Autumn Festival is on the 15th ofthe 8th lunar month. It is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It is also my favorite festival.
A few days before the festival people in the family will clean the house. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.
Families in China usually gather around onthis day to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. we usually eat moon-cakes and enjoythe full moon, which is the reason why I like the Mid-Autumn Festival best . Moreover, weoften buy moon-cakes to our relatives.
There is a big family dinner. After dinner people light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children play with their own toy lanterns happily.
In aword, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a day of reunion . I like this festival verymuch.
