Children always look forward to the summervacation, and what children expect most is to participate in our CambridgeEnglish summer camp again. Because in our summer camp, kids can not only learnhappily, but also take part in various activities and courses, such as Englishsongs, rock climbing, basketball, English shopping, English movies, and so on.This way can enhance and improve children’s English competences in a variety ofclasses. Since August 1, children have ushered in the second phase of CambridgeEnglish Summer Camp. Now let’s share their happy time.

Wonderful moments of summer camp

Opening Ceremony

  The first night was our opening ceremony. Thepreparation time was very short, but it was colorful. The whole ceremony waspresided over by our students. Although our hosts were young, they did a goodjob. Moreover, the procedures were complete, for example, the leader of summercamp, Guo Weimin, announced the opening and made a speech; campers took anoath; we gave English performances which got applause from all the campers. Theinteresting opening ceremony left a great impression on our campers and openedour happy summer camp. Let's enjoy their wonderful moments!

Courses and Activities

The colorful courses and activities werethe highlight of our summer camp and the source of happiness for children.Children could learn and have fun during the holidays. As is known to all,children like eating snacks, so we designed English shopping for them. Everyday, students could get rewards for their excellent performance -- summer schoolcurrency. Then they could use it in English shops. It not only satisfiedchildren's craving for snacks, but also stimulated their interests and trainedtheir courage in learning and expression.

Extracurricular Activities

   The exciting extracurricular activities werefinally started in Chime-Long Paradise on the last day. Students got up earlyand couldn’t control their excitement. After breakfast, under the teacher'sarrangement, children brought their delicious lunch which camp prepared, likefried chicken, corn hot dogs, bread, milk and apples. Children played differentkinds of facilities. Although it was hot, children still enjoyed themselves.

Distinctive Closing Ceremony

Summer camp lasted only seven days, but weattached great importance to it. On the evening of the sixth day, our classesheld diverse closing ceremonies, also summary meeting. Teachers preparedwatermelons, potato chips, drinks, candies, and other snacks for children.Meanwhile, teachers also prepared games and programs.

   On the last day, the words we heard the mostis “I want to join in such summer camp every year.” Children's words are thebiggest affirmation of our summer camp. I think it’s the best gift for all ourteachers!
