Due to the epidemic situation,we met teachers and classmates in a special way when the new semester beganafter Chinese New Year. At first, I was still a little bit uncomfortable, andat the same time, I was bothered about the network problems. But then Igradually adapted to the change, the online class changed my lazy habits developedduring the vacation. Of course, when I just started taking the Canadian dramacourse, ADA3M, I had encountered many difficulties. When I attended the onlineclass, I was not confident enough to participate. I could not express what Iwas thinking when Mr. Baker asked questions, and sometimes even said nothing. So I wanted to drop the course and switch to another course that required lesspublic speaking. When I talked to director Yoyo about my thought, she told methat I had magnified the difficulty of the course and my anxiety. Nothing would be easy if I didn't want towork hard. She asked me to try harder before I made decision to give up. So I took her words and went back to thedrama class. I could not say that thesituation was getting better all at once, but I started to improve slowly. I have improved all the way from not knowingwhere to hand in my homework at the beginning to now being praised by theteacher for handing in excellent homework. So I want to share my story with mypeers: Perseverance will pay off. Success never comes easily. It is worthwhileto fight for what you want.
