A Brief Introduction
To the School-Based Elective Courses of the Secondary School

Huamei International School has been taking“Integrating eastern and western educational ethos to cultivate tomorrow’sglobal leaders” as its long-standing mission since its founding 27 years ago ,with which in mind, the Secondary School put forward its own educational philosophyof “Cultivating students inwardly and outwardly for their all-round development”and has been committed to the development, establishment and perfection of acomplete curriculum system, including national, local and school-based courses,with a purpose of ensuring students’ independent development and socialparticipation based on compulsory knowledge. With years’ unremitting efforts ofexploration and experiments, a complete curriculum system has been createdeventually and has been putting into practice.
