A project to make math interesting

In fact,many people think that mathematics is a relatively boring subject, but actuallyit’s not.Mathematicsis the science of quantitative relationships and spatial forms. And mathematicsplays an irreplaceable role in the development of human history and sociallife, and is also an essential basic tool for studying and studying modernscience and technology. So we should learn math and use math well. 


Mathematicsis an abstract subject, so it seems difficult to learn, and it may make youfeel boring. Therefore, in the process of learning mathematics, as long as weknow how the learn mathematics, we will feel that it is not difficult to learnand is very interested. For elementary school students, I think developingtheir interest in mathematics is very important at this age. So I organized himto do two math projects.



I started both projects on November 18th. It took them about three weeks to complete and twoprojects, one is book of shapes and the other is a multiplication table.


Book of shapesare for the first and second groups of students in grades 4 and 6, because theywill learn a lot of graphics. Therefore, they do this book that can help thembetter master these graphics. 


This is a bookwith a cover name of a graphic book, which contains all the graphics they havestudied before. Such as line segment, ray, straight line, acute angle, rightangle, obtuse angle, straight angle, round angle, triangles, squares,rectangles, parallelogram and trapezoid. They can mark its vertex, perimeterformula, area formula and so on. This book will also help them review theirknowledge points and at the same time allow them to increase their interest inmathematics.



And themultiplication table is for the group C, the grade 2 students. Because for themathematics teaching of the grade 2 students, they just touched and learned themultiplication, so there are some strangers and fears about multiplication.Therefore, I plan to have them make a multiplication table. This will help thembetter master the multiplication and at the same time make them more interestedin mathematics. 


This is a largemultiplication table that contains the multiplication of all the numbers theyhave studied before. For example, the multiplication of two, the multiplicationof five, the multiplication of seven, etc. They wrote the multiplication of thenumbers they have learned and the numbers they will learn in each table. Nowthey made a digital multiplication table from one to nine. 

At last, it canbe displayed, they also can add their own ideas and paintings. Thismultiplication table also help them review their knowledge points aboutmultiplication and hope they will become interested in mathematics.

In short, this two projects will also help them better master these graphics andmultiplication, at the same time allow them to increase their interest inmathematics.
