On July 16th, we finally arrived in London, which is a beautiful city. Our camp is in Southampton, which is far from London. Along the way from London to Southampton, there are lots of farms and grass fields. Our campsite is very beautiful. I liked here very much. But we missed our evening activity tonight. Because we did not listen carefully to the teacher’s direction. What a pity! God bless me have a good day.

On the 16th of July, we finally arrived in London.It was a long travel. First,we took off from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.Then,we transferred to Doha.The meal in the Doha plane was not very good. Finally,we arrived at London Heathrow Airport. It was about 20 hours fly. What a long travel it was! Although it was very long travel and I felt tired, I still enjoyed it. On the second day, we went to Winchester. It was a beautiful city, wasn't it? We had a good time there.We also spent some money to buy some lovely souvenirs. I hope we will have a better day next day.

We arrived at London’s Heathrow Airport on July 16th, 2018. Our British Summer Camp started. After nearly 2 hours bus drove, we arrived in Southampton. I met my homestay mum Ms. Beverley with two of my classmates, and then we followed Ms. Beverley home. Ms. Beverley is a lovely lady. She has a pet, the turtle named Sam.
There is a large lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms with a bathroom in her house, which is very very beautiful! A Spanish girl was also staying at Ms. Beverly’s house. Oh my god, I have to admit that she is very beautiful and her English is very good.

On July 17th, we traveled to Rosmey in the morning. Rosmey is a small town. There is a church near the town, which was 900 years old. In the afternoon we came back to the school for an English placement exam. After that, I was assigned to Mr. Mark's class. Mr. Mark is an interesting man. His class is full of fun. He used group games to motivate us. I like his class. I hope I will try much more interesting things tomorrow！

The wonderful British summer camp started on July 16th. We took off from Guangzhou to Doha at 1:30 in the morning of July 16th, and then flew to London for total 20 hours. It was really tired, but it could not restrain my excitement when I arrived in the UK, waiting for the host family to come. I chose to stay in a homestay by myself without any Huamei School peers. My homestay mum came with her lovely son to pick me up. It was the first time I went to a foreign family alone. I tried my best English to communicate with them and lived in a foreign family by myself, which was very interesting. This was a wonderful experience I have never had before. In the morning of the first day of the British journey, we went to visit a very quiet and beautiful town, where we visited a church of British style. After that, we went back to the school for lunch. We had English placement test in the afternoon, and then we were assigned to different classes according to our English level. After the school, I took the bus home by myself. I felt really wonderful to do this kind of things alone in the foreign country. It will be my most forgettable experience in my life.

We arrived in the Britain on July 17th. There are so many differences between Chinese and British.on the first day, we met our host family and followed her home. Our host family is very nice. And there is a girl who came from Turkey staying with us. She has been in Britain for three weeks already so she knew a lot about the circumstances around our host family. The owner of our host family was a nice lady, she has a dog called Joker. Joker is big and old, but he is gentle and faithful. On the second day morning, we took bus from the homestay to the school and went home after the school by ourselves. It’s really a challenge for me. Because I found that it’s hard to find out which station you’re going to get off. But I got some help from nice people and I went to school and home very safely. In the field trip to Rosemay, we visited a beautiful church, in which we I learnt a lot. And I learnt that it’s an impolite behavior to eat or drink in the church.
