Guangzhou Huamei International School,founded in 1993 by a group of returned overseas Chinese scholars from Canada,Accredited by the Chinese governmental education departments, our school now ranks one of the best private boarding schools in Guangdong Province.

We provide professional education programs ranging from kindergarten to Grade12(K-12):  Kindergarten, Elementary School (Grade 1 through 6), and the Middle School (Grade 7 through 12).

1.Qualifications

l        Native English speaker from Canada, USA, UK and Australia,etc.

l        Bachelor degree or above, TESOLand equivalent certificates are necessary, Good command of communication skill

l       2 years related teaching experience

l        Passion for teaching and experiencing different cultures

l        Good health and friendly personality

2. Salary:There is a salary scale for ESL teachers based on teachers’ educational background and work experience.

Salary scale depends on ability and experience as bellow:

l       150000-162000RMB/yearbefore tax for ESL teachers

The contractis 12 months among which work months are little less than 10 months, 2 months are holiday months.

3.  Benefits

l        Contract Renew Allowance: RMB 500 / work month for continuously 5 years.

l        Professional Teaching Certificate Allowance: RMB1000 / work month

l        Work Visa and Residence Permit: The school will arrange work visa and residence permit for the teacher.

l        Medical Insurance: The school offers inpatient hospitalization insuranceand accidental insurance. 

l        Airfare: To reimburse 1,000 United States dollars for theteacher’s economy class round trip airplane ticket upon completion of thecontract.

l        Housing Accommodation: The School will provide a furnished apartment withfurniture and appliances. Next contract year school can offer renting allowanceRMB 1500 per month.

l        Teaching Bonus: Range from RMB 2000-7000 based on teaching evaluationresults at the end of school year

4.  Teacher’sWorkload

Workload is 22.5hoursper week plus 2 classes of out class activities per week.
