In the evening of November 23,2007,at the invitation of local government,all foreign teachers and education experts working in Huamei campus,totalling nearly 40,from Canada,Australia,America and Britain, go to the Tianhe Stadium to enjoy the Opening Ceremony of 2007 Guangdong International Tourism and Culture Festival,which has been held successfully for 2 years,aiming at promoting the cultural exchange between Guangdong province and other regions/countries,publisizing the rapid development and unique culture of southern China.

   The ceremony,lasting nearly 2 hours,starting with the parade of flower decorated vechile representing various  provinces,cities across China and Guangdong Province,and nations like Japan,Korea,Australia and Malysia.Famous pop stars like Jacky Cheng,sing and dance on the gorgeous stage,accompanied by hundreds of dancers and blossom of fireworks.Many teachers claim this is the most splendid and marvelous performance they ever witness,and they are really impressed by the power and creativity of Guangdong people,and they are also proud of devoting their knowledge to the education of Huamei.
