Planting Trees Day is on 12th, March. People plant trees on this day because trees help us in many ways. Trees are major fighters against air pollution. First, they keep the air cool and clean. Second, they take in harmful gases from the air and produce oxygen for us to breathe. Third, they make the cities more beautiful by reducing sound pollution. Trees also make our lives more convenient. Many things come from trees, such as wood, pencil and paper. A lot of furniture is made of wood too. In fact, we also get oil, tea and some delicious fruit from trees. How important and useful trees are! And we can imagine how frightening a world without trees will be.

It is important for us to protect trees, so we must take some actions. We should plant more trees every year, and make more people do this together. We can also stop cutting down millions of trees and reduce pollution. These two things work together to help protect trees and the environment.

Let’s plant as many trees as we can!
