Thanks to my parents' support and help, on this summer vacation , I had a chance toexperience the university life in UBC of Canada.

Curiously,I embarked on a trip to Canada. Although the long flight is unbearable, it did not reduce my expectation to Canada, but full of hope. Finally,the plane arrived in Vancouver international airport. The first impression on Vancouver is the blue sky, the cool and fresh air and nice people. Then we set off for UBC by school bus, having a good look at every corner of the street. Soon, we arrived at UBC.

In UBC, I really feel something different from China. Not only is the environment different, but also everything is so different. During this two weeks, I made new friends from different countries and learned a lot from them in everyclass, and I realized education here is completely different to Chinese educational mode. The most expressive for the lessons here is"relaxing", relaxing learning atmosphere, relaxing relationship betweenteachers and students as well as the natural, open school environment, which gave us a sense of freedom. At first, I could not catch up with the teachers,because of too many academic words. Therefore, I felt it difficult to learn,and wanted to give up learning. However, after one week’s hard work, my vocabulary has greatly increased, and professors are always patient to us, sogradually I could follow the courses.

After we finished EUL2, I think I have made great progress, and I think I am read yfor EUL3.
