Early on 9th July morning，all the twenty-five Huamei school students gotup and packed their luggage for an exciting trip--July Conversation& AmericanCulture Program in UCR. On the way to the airport, the students chatted witheach other happily and got to know each other well.

Every students were excited and delightedto have this trip with their fellow friends and teachers, Miss Su and Miss Wu.Successfully all the students passed the security check and got ready for theflight .This is first photograph of all the students and teachers taken in theairport.

It took us 15 hours to reach ourdestination-- University of California, Riverside. As soon as we arrived, allthe nice homestay parents came to the campus and took the children home. Firstof all their show their passion to the children and then gave them the warmhugs.

All the students were fond of the homestaysand they got alone well with all the family members. Some students told me thatthe homestay children invited them to play outdoor activities with them andthey had a fantastic time. This is the bedroom at homestay taken by thestudents.

University of California, Riverside is apretty university which is public，located in the university village. The bright sun is always beatingdown relentless and the crows are singing everywhere.

The second day the homestay family sent thestudents back to campus on time by their own cars. We were satisfied that allthe students came with a happy smile on their face, which told us that they hada wonderful sleep at homestays.

The class began at nine o'clock and all thestudents concentrated on the classes. Program Orientation, Registration, Immigration，Health Orientation and Homestay Orientationwere included in the morning lessons.

At lunchtime ，the students enjoyed the yummy food prepared by homestays. The foodis various, such as delicious hamburgers ，colorful sandwiches , butter muffins and so on.

We had a wonderful shopping time during theafternoon in Ontario Mills.

On the third day, the teaching assistantscame to greet the students early and then separated them into different levelgroups. Quickly , the students went to different groups according to the signsraised by the assistants.

In the afternoon ，the students did some interesting games suchas the Scavenger Hunt which helps them to get familiar with the campusenvironment. Then they had the conversation activity that encouraged them tocommunicate with other students who are from different countries , such asKorea and Japan.

On the fourth day，the program manager Nick who is very friendlyand considerate greeted the students early when they got to school and playedvolleyball with them. All the students actively came alone and chatted with himand took photographs with him.

After asking the permission, Miss Su and Iattended their class. The teachers are nice and professional and the classesare happy and efficient. The children got into 4-people groups and cooperatedwith the group members.

So far, all the students enjoy the life inUCR and I believed that they would be merry during the following days.
