On Thursday, December 21^st, our class preformed at the gym for the Chinese vocal competition against primary and middle school. All of us had a great time. At first, there were some consequences, so practicing was quite difficult. Because some people just couldn’t stand the pressure, so they played around. But on the day of the performance, nearly all of us did a good job, although it was a little challenging. We practiced and preformed many songs and plays, such as “Fireflies Fly”, “Poems of the Four Seasons” and many more performances. Some of the other songs and performances are the School Anthem and an ancient poem from china written during the Tang Dynasty. Other people were in the competition too, such as the International class from middle school and the International classes from Jinan University. Everyone had a lot of fun, especially during the games when the Chinese vocal competition ended. The game was Malaysian Bag racing. You played the game by putting your feet in a bag and jumping. The person to the other side wins! If there’s a lot of people, as there was on the day. You could turn the race into a relay race, which is more fun.
